Become a tutor

Signing up to become a tutor is straightforward. Firstly, you should check you meet the minimum requirements.

To sign up, contact me at tgvaughan@outlook.com and send me the following:

1. The subjects you wish to teach

2. The grade transcripts for said subjects at your chosen level (GCSE/A-level)

3. A brief description of yourself. This can include course and societies at uni, current job, or hobbies. This will be client-facing.

4. If you already have an enhanced DBS check, then let me know and send proof. If not, I will guide you through the process.

​5. We will discuss availability later in the process, so no need to send just yet.

Grade requirements

For the subject you wish to tutor, you must have achieved a 7/8/9 in that subject at GCSE to be able to teach it at GCSE level.

For A-level, you must have achieved either an A or an A* in your chosen subject

​

Subjects

If you would like to tutor a subject that is not already on the site, then no problem, we can add it as an option.

DBS Checks

As of this year, self-employed individuals are allowed to secure their own Enhanced DBS Check. It is important that this must be *Enhanced* and no other level (eg basic).
